Last updated: April 23, 2026. This policy explains what the current static
version of NoSleepScreen stores, what it does not collect, and how advertising
and cookies should be handled if the site becomes ad-supported.
Information collected right now
The current static version of NoSleepScreen does not ask visitors to create an
account, upload files, or provide personal profile information. The site
runs in the browser and the wake-lock session itself is handled by browser
APIs on the visitor's device.
Local storage on the device
NoSleepScreen stores a small amount of data in the browser's local storage so the
page can remember preferences and show simple session statistics. This
includes:
Theme preference such as light or dark mode
Session counts and elapsed timer statistics used by the on-page stats dialog
This information stays in the visitor's browser unless the browser data is
cleared. It is not transmitted by the current static version of the site.
Third-party services
At the time of this policy update, NoSleepScreen uses Formspree on the contact
page to process visitor messages. No subscriber service, analytics provider,
or advertising network is currently active on the live site. If additional
services are added later, this policy should be updated before they go live.
Advertising and cookies
NoSleepScreen may apply for or later display Google AdSense ads or another ad
platform. If ad code is active on the site, Google and its partners may use
cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads as
permitted by the visitor's settings, location, and applicable law.
Visitors can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps
by reviewing Google's own privacy and ads information. Visitors may also be
able to manage personalized advertising preferences through Google's ad settings.
If advertising is activated, the site owner should also implement any
required consent or privacy messaging for applicable regions before ad
serving begins.
Policy changes
When this privacy policy changes, the date at the top of the page should be
updated and the live site should reflect the current behavior of the tool.
The best policy is an accurate one, not a generic one.
